Love this strategy game. Reminds me of a turn based Starcraft.

If you like strategy there is no reason not to get this game.

So this is the 3rd review. All the others tell me the nickname is taken and the erases the review. Opponents always have more funds and so can outnumber you so you never win. Opponents engineers have EMP but mine dont which is bull. Instructions are nonexistent or worthless

Ive played this game for years and I enjoy it immensely. I bought the app on a whim and Im glad I did. There is a little learning curve to the game but the single player mode helps with that. Playing online against other people in random matches is very fun but the best is engaging in the various small tournaments throughout the month. Ive never used the map creator portion of the game but Im glad others have because there are countless maps to play on.

Games like Risk/Lux are some of my favorites but I end up getting bored after a while due to the limited types of units available. So this game reminds me a lot of those types of games but with much greater variety of units you can build. Really good tutorial and single player campaign. Havent tried the multiplayer nor seen how necessary the IAP is but so far Im loving it!

Uniwar is one of only a handful of apps that have remained on my home screen for over 5 years. This game allows you to play against other players around the world, but on your schedule. Perfect for people who want a quick game they can play in those micro-moments to unwind and relax throughout the day. Easy to learn, but challenging to master, you will easily find yourself playing with new people year after year.

This game is brilliant. The new update is awful. I dislike the new method for showing which units have been used.

April 25th update fix is a Good fix of unused units Glowing Green with added Toggle On/Off in settings. Thank you!! I still prefer the former method of shading used units, but this will do. I like that you can now capture you teammates bases. Makes UniWar fresh and brings possibilities. UniWar is the best strategy game on iOS!! Yet I still think only Engineers, Assimilators, and Infectors should be able to detect Underlings! Hidden should be hidden. Also the timer in Tournament games should automatically skip or kick players that let the clock reach zero. Also when skipped the skipped player should gain no credits or only half credits. If players choose to burn the clock then that is their choice, but if you let the clock reach zero then too bad. That would get everyone to adhere to the clock and keep the game moving. (Like the clock in chess or the shot clock in basketball, etc.) I LOVE UniWar and have been playing since Jan. 2010. I purchased for Andriod & iOS too. Im grateful for having it very much. Good way to use up 30 min. Not too easy but not too hard also. Fun challenging game
