Best turn based strategy game on iPhone

This is by far THE best turn-based strategy game available for iOS. Its gameplay is intuitive, interesting, and fun. And none of that stupid, endless grinding that so many other games have. Also, no pay-to-win. This game is like chess but so much more fun to play.

I played partway through the single-player campaign and then started playing multiplayer and that is where the real fun began. It might seem a bit complicated at first, but every little thing you learn about how the game works gives you another edge over your opponents.

This game is just an awesome exercise in thinking through possibilities, and prioritizing which units to make against your enemies in all different situations. Its as brilliantly simple as chess and has all the awesome sci-fi feel of Starcraft. The three-race system is beautifully balanced and lends a depth of strategy and interest that many other games these days lack. The player pool is awesome and super enthusiastic, and the meta never gets stale because of the constantly changing maps. Tournaments make things really interesting when you start feeling confident enough to be really competitive.

Five stars. Worth a download for anyone tired of losing in Clash of Clans or Hearthstone to the credit card warriors.
